Candy has compiled verses dealing on different topics so that you have them at your finger tips. Three of them that I have reviewed are “Healing Book”, “The Word of God on Prosperity”, and “Woman Book”. I reviewed the ones that have been written from the KJV but she has other versions for some of the books as well.
The thing I liked the most about these books is that if you are looking for encouragement in any of these areas she has done the “leg” work for you and they are so you can read the verses pertaining to the topic. I find myself spending a lot of time just trying to find the scripture on a certain topic but she has them already looked up and where to find them in the Bible.
These are wonderful books to use for a Bible study on your own, family Bible study, Sunday School Bible study or just so you have them at finger tip when you need them.
Thanks Candy for all of your work!

“Help, Lord, I’m Getting Ready to Start Homeschooling My High Schooler!” is a wonderful encouraging ebook! This isn’t a book to tell you how to homeschool your child but an encouragement of how others made it through the high school years.
Each chapter is written by a different person and how there family made it through those tough years. I found myself relating to some of them as they struggled with having older children and younger ones, “normal” children along with trying to teach handicapped ones. You will find that even though all of them were happy that they had homeschooled their children, there were down times and times of questioning. It is nice to know that others have those moments too.
This ebook is chalked full of stories that real mom’s went through. As we are seeing down times when money is sparce, you will find help and encouragement; wondering if you can really teach what they need through high school to be ready for college, experience it with some that had the same questions; rethinking what your true goals for homeschooling your child are and see that God is faithful to helping us all through to the end no matter what stumbling blocks may be placed in our way.
Overall, this has been a blessing to me. To see that others have seen there children go through these tough years of their lives and find fulfillment has been an encouragement to me. It reminds me just why I started homeschooling over 12 years ago and that our family too can make it all the way through. Great job ladies!

SpellQuizer is a really neat program for kids to use!! It runs on Windows and is VERY easy to use. You can use the spelling list that they have pre-made or you can make up your own. To make up your own you need to have a very inexpensive mic. Not only does it give the words for the kids to spell but it also uses the word in a sentence. It reminds me of a Spelling Bee. You can go change the lists at any time. This is a great buy and very helpful! You can also import and export your spelling list. The price is right, too!! It is only $29.95 and is downloaded to your computer quickly. You can get a FREE trial version for 30 days. You will find that spelling isn’t as hard to study for because it becomes a game and not work!! You can get your copy at http://www.spellquizzer.com.

Molly’s Money-Saving Digest for August is a wonderful, helpful book that all of us need to read! It is all about organization, and boy do we ever need that.
The first part is on getting things organized and easier to fix quick meals. Like to cook but need some new quick ideas? You will find them here! She has seem really neat recipes to even help out.
Need some ideas on how to organize those bank accounts; decorating; how to clean out those dirty, full closets; don’t forget that cluttered garage, you will find all sorts of help right here in this little ebook!!! Yes, I even learned some new ideas that I plan to put to work.
Do you love to cook but don’t know how to organize that kitchen? right here you will find the help needed. Need some help on how to organize your mail? She also has places to write to get off those terrible “junk” mail lists. As homeschoolers we seem to have loads of pictures but do we ever do anything with them? She has some neat ideas how to get them organized and use them.
Toys, that is a terrible word around our house. But you will find some great ideas how to get them organized so they aren’t all over the house. Another dirty word is paper around our house. There is some great ideas on how to organize that mess, too.
I have a small bathroom and it gets tight every once in awhile with everyone’s stuff in it, you will find some great ideas on how to keep things neater and easier to find. And another topic talked about is books like this, ebooks. If you are like me you have a ton of them but do you know where they are?
And last but not least, how to get all your goals in a better setup. At the back of the book you will find a great reference for all the different areas on the web.
This is a great book that we all need to read about once a year. Thanks Molly for your wonderful help and all the others that put this ebook together. You can get this at The Old Schoolhouse website.
Seasons, Trees and Me for preschool and kindergärtners is a beautiful ebook that holds lots of fun and learning for both the kids and moms, published by the Teacher Book Bag. My handicapped 6 yr old enjoyed it so much! The pictures are bright and colorful and print off wonderfully in color or in black and white. You will find handwriting materials to work with the child that are even fun to do. They will learn how to do tally marks, bar graphs, etc and what each season is like. There is different things to do with different subjects for example for science have fun looking at the different temperatures during the different seasons. There are crafty things to do to help them use scissors and don’t forget those items that they love to paste, exercise things that you can help them move around and do when they get tired of being still.
The fun part about all of this book is the part that shows the child that they are just as special as each season is to life. You will find a list of books that you can use to make it more fun throughout this wonderful study. And towards the end you will find a wonderful little book to make with them all about “God Made Me Special”.
This is a great e-book and I highly recommend it!

Wow, what a book! It is simple to download this book and if you are looking for strength in starting a business from home, you need to read this one! The main area’s that it surrounds is:
- A Labor of Love
- Computer Based
- Creative Writing
- Business Support
- Tricks of the Trade
You have seen all over the internet different handiworks that kids can make this book shows how families have taken those handcrafts and made them into a family operation. A lot of these families are ones that have 6 plus kids.
The Cook family live in a a 34′ motor home with 2 parents, 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat and run a sewing business and homeschool at the same time. There main product are made out of recycled jeans. I loved seeing how a family can not only live in close corners and get along but also go to school and work together.
This book is filled with awesome ideas on how to start your own business but it also tells how some had to change their life style so that they could get everything done.
One thing that was pointed out that your child could start a business just by writing beautiful little quotes for others. Start those little ones at a early age so that can see their gifts that the Lord has given them.
The book also goes through how to setup the business legally and what process you will probably have to go through.
I highly recommend this book! I feel that every family has something to contribute no matter how great or small. If we don’t teach our children to work now, when they are grown they won’t be interested and living off the government won’t mean a thing.
Thanks for putting this book together Old Schoolhouse!! Want a copy of it? You may get your own by going to http://www.theoldschoolhousestore.com.
The Old Schoolhouse is celebrating it’s first birthday with their digital subscription. The magazine has always been a favorite of mine but it really made a difference when they went digital. Now it is not only cheaper but you can click on the websites that you are interested in that have special links and go straight to them instead of trying to remember what the links are and going at a convient time.
Another advantage is that I can save the magazine to my computer and look at them when I have time. No worry about the kids tearing them up before I have a chance to read them, no worry about the post office loosing them in the mail or having them ripped up when they do arrive.
If you are looking for a magazine that has a lot of helps in it, this is one of the tops that you will want to consider getting. Take a look at what they have going on right now while they are celebrating their first birthday!
