But this years cruise has been the BEST we have ever experienced. The captain is always very nice and the crew is always very friendly. We have had the privilege to have the same server the last two cruises and she has been awesome. As always our service dog, Suzy, gets special attention from everyone but the crew members made sure that she was taken care of and our son was okay.

The food was awesome!!! It is a 3 course meal with drink refills. The one thing you don’t want to do is it eat a big meal before coming on board!!! The food is great and you will not want to miss any of it.

The entertainment this year is the BEST we have seen. The ShowMen and Janice Martin are awesome. You will hear barber shop quartet style music to classics from over the years. Janice Martin is very talented and shows it in her voice, piano playing and her violin playing. You don’t want to miss the world’s only violinist that plays from the air! The ending is a very emotional ending reminding us of our patriotic love for this awesome country. The jokes are VERY clean and you will not be embarrassed and your kids will love it and if they are like our two children you will find them singing along and having fun.

Make sure to use your homeschooler discount that you can find on our website. Enjoy your awesome trip on this awesome cruise!

It was an awesome experience!!!! We were welcomed at the gate just as if we were on the actual cruise. As we went in to the ticket area we were given these neat remotes that you type numbers that they have posted into the remote and you will hear interesting stories of real people that were on the titanic and other information that isn’t posted in the museum. Our 9 yr old, handicapped son found this one of the best museums he has ever been in. There were some hands on things to enjoy. We loved getting to see what the inside of the ship was like and a video of the making of the ship. Then we went out on deck to feel what it was like the night of the wreck.

One of the fun parts of the tour was our tickets! Yep, a little unusual but when you go in you are given a boarding pass that you become one of the people that actually was on the Titanic. You are told to watch as you go through the ship to see if you lived or if you perished. The four people that we were, were very interesting. Michael was a fireman/stoker, Milton was a fifth officer, Abigail and I were a mother/daughter that were 1st class passengers. Funny part was we were given the right one mother for mother and daughter for daughter.

Everyone was gracious to us and welcomed our service dog aboard. It was an amazing experience and we would recommend it to anyone young or old. There are NO scary areas that little ones would be afraid of but lots of learning for all ages! By the way, we were thankful to find at the end of the cruise that all four of us lived to tell their stories. You will find this a very rewarding stop on your vacation. You will be welcomed and there is NO time limit. Take your time and enjoy.

NOTE: there are no camera’s or cell phones allowed in the ship. Please respect these regulations.

After 17 yrs of hard work my long loved Kitchen Aid Mixer wore out. I cried. I loved this mixer it could do everything that I ever dreamed of making. I hadn’t found another mixer that could beat what this one could UNTIL I was introduced to the Bosch Mixer.

I contacted Everything Kitchens and asked if I could do a review on it for my fellow homeschoolers and then gave me this wonderful opportunity.

When I look at mixers the first thing I notice is the price tag. If I’m going to spend a lot on a mixer I want it to last and do what I want it to do.

Things that I wanted to be able to do with it was:

Make large amount of homemade bread

Make decorating icing

Make large batches of cookies

When I bought it I bought the Bosch Universal Plus 6 Qt Mixer with a 800W Motor. Yep, I wanted it to last. Mine came with a dough hook, twin beating whisks, splash ring and cover and a 6 qt mixing bowl. I opted to buy the cookie beaters and opted out of buying the blender that attaches to the setup.

When I received it all I could say was WOW! The bowl is a heavy duty plastic but it is so easy to use and when you scrap stuff out of it it comes clean. The dough hook and whisks are metal along with the insert that goes through the middle of the bowl that the mixing device sits on have to be washed by hand. You don’t need to buy the cookie beaters, in fact I wouldn’t suggest buying them. The dough hook is used to make the bread and cookies. The bowl is dishwasher safe.

The first thing I made in it was a big batch of homemade bread. I love it!!! With the way the hook is made it puts the air into the dough that is needed for a bread to rise on its first rise so you don’t have to wait that time out. The bread turned out beautiful and no hard work!!!

I made a cake with the decorating icing (a double batch) and it came out really smooth and so easy to use.

Mixing cakes and cookies are cut in half with this mixer because of the motor speed. There is little mess because the flour is contained inside with the lid.

This mixer is very easy to use, clean and isn’t bad to look at. If you want to expand the system there is several attachments you can add to the system, too.

This is an awesome system! Highly recommended! Go to http://www.everythingkitchens.com/boschUKM.html to get one of these awesome mixers!!

This book is awesome and easy to understand. NO BIG TERM words that send you scrambling to a dictionary to figure out what they are talking about.

She explains what the LD child feels like and how to find the child strengths and weaknesses. She uses scripture throughout the book for encouragement. She touches on learning styles, what age a child should be able to do different things. Yes, your child may be labeled many different things, but there is help out there. In the back of the book she has listed many different organizations that help in different ways, too.

This is a great help and resource for any parent of a LD child. Get this and other awesome items for special needs from http://joyceherzog.com. You can also find her on Facebook at Joyce Herzog Organization.

It helps make your childs IEP’s where you understand what they need and where you are wanting to go with this child. It covers all academic areas K-8th grade in all of the core curriculum areas plus art, music and literature.

I really like the easy hands on checklist that I can go through and mark off what I want my child to do and then I can also record when it is accomplished. Together with Luke’s Life List and this book you will have a great balance of school and spiritual development. Most IEP’s only do the life/academic part but Joyce has included the spiritual side, too. This is so important in all our lives but especially to those special needs that need to realize that they are also special to the Heavenly Father.

This helped me kick off our sons IEP’s when I was really confused about it all. It was like someone holding my hand and helping me through it all.

I highly recommend this! Get this and other awesome items for special needs from joyceherzog.com. You can also find her on Facebook at Joyce Herzog Organization.
