The snow and ice are falling and the temperture is only 18 degrees outside. But inside the warmth of Christmas is glowing. The candles are out, the tree is lit with presents underneath. But the most important part of Christmas is what is inside of our hearts. Yes, the only thing that Christ wants from us this year is our hearts! Not the gifts that we can give to others or what they can give to us but what He wants the most is for us to share our heart and the love of the Lord Jesus to those around us.
As I look around it is sad to see that the true part of Christmas keeps getting less and less every year! Without CHRIST there wouldn’t be a Christmas! I see those that are made because people use xmas instead, but those that use it and get made at it don’t really understand what “x” stands for, for over a 1,000 yrs X has stood for Christ. This is a very busy time of year for everyone but make sure to leave time for the Babe in Bethleham and to teach your children that it isn’t all about Santa and getting gifts but about the Babe that came to become a man and then went to the cross for us and then went to Heaven to prepare for us. One day soon He will be returning but this time as the King of Kings!
