We are wanting to announce the opening of the 2008 Online Convention.  
The vendor hall is open to everyone and a few workshops are for free.  
Most of the workshops you have to be a member of MATCH to be able to 
listen to them.  We have some wonderful workshops this year and you will 
notice not all the workshops are out there yet but we will be putting a 
few new ones out throughout the year and taking off the old ones.

Make sure to check out the new events going on throughout Missouri this 
year.  The Titanic Museum has a special going on for the next month that 
you won't want to miss out on!

The SHEM convention will be taking place April 24-26, 2008, Springfield 
Expo Center, 635 St. Louis St,  Springfield, MO  65806.  We will be 
onsite with our information and helping to celebrate 25 years of legal 
homeschooling.  We will have several door prizes that will be offered 
during the event from different vendors that we work with.

Make sure to check out SDC Homeschool Weekend!!! They are bring back the 
roller coaster event this year due to all the request that was made last 
year.  Please make note these are the only days that there will be 
special things going on in the park for homeschoolers.  This year the 
Silver Dollar City Parks have decided to give the homeschoolers a big 
discount year around to come to their parks.  Please let them know that 
you appreciate this favor.  Homeschoolers are the only ones that have 
this offer and we don't want to let them down!  The prices for the 
following parks are as listed for 2 day passes:

    * Silver Dollar City - $46.21 Adult   $35.47 Child
    * Celebration City - $26.78 Adult    $21.20 Child
    * White Water - $32.36 Adult    $26.78 Child

The following price for the Showboat Branson Belle includes: cruise, 
show, meal, tax & gratuity.  $42.99 Adults   $20.42 Child.

More information will be on our website as we receive it for the 
Homeschool Weekend.

Please let the different vendors on our convention when you order from 
them, that you heard about them from MATCH.  We look forward to meeting 
many of you at the SHEM convention or at the SDC Homeschool Day.  We are 
constantly having new information coming in and want to keep everyone 
up-to-date.  So check out our website from time to time.  Watch the 
calendar that we have on the main site for interesting events, too.
