This is a great book for parents that are tired of labels being put on the children and no help to see them achieve what they are able to achieve. This book is awesome and easy to understand. NO BIG TERM words that send you scrambling to a dictionary to figure out what they are talking about.
She explains what the LD child feels like and how to find the child strengths and weaknesses. She uses scripture throughout the book for encouragement. She touches on learning styles, what age a child should be able to do different things. Yes, your child may be labeled many different things, but there is help out there. In the back of the book she has listed many different organizations that help in different ways, too.
This is a great help and resource for any parent of a LD child. Get this and other awesome items for special needs from http://joyceherzog.com. You can also find her on Facebook at Joyce Herzog Organization.

This awesome book goes along with Luke’s Life List. It helps make your childs IEP’s where you understand what they need and where you are wanting to go with this child. It covers all academic areas K-8th grade in all of the core curriculum areas plus art, music and literature.
I really like the easy hands on checklist that I can go through and mark off what I want my child to do and then I can also record when it is accomplished. Together with Luke’s Life List and this book you will have a great balance of school and spiritual development. Most IEP’s only do the life/academic part but Joyce has included the spiritual side, too. This is so important in all our lives but especially to those special needs that need to realize that they are also special to the Heavenly Father.
I highly recommend this! Get this and other awesome items for special needs from http://joyceherzog.com. You can also find her on Facebook at Joyce Herzog Organization.

Do you have problems making up IEP’s for that special needs child? This book is an
awesome book to have to help you out and Joyce has based it off of Luke 2:52. You will find checklist from babyhood all the way through the teen years. It has objectives and goals listed and a great record-keeping system. Besides the regular IEP you will find a planning book and a way of evaluating that student. This is all found in this handy book.
This helped me kick off our sons IEP’s when I was really confused about it all. It was like someone holding my hand and helping me through it all.

This is an awesome way to teach math!!! For those children that have a tough time of writing this takes very little of it. If you child has problems picking up small items not only are you teaching math but you are doing Occupational Therapy at the same time. You will love the bright colors on the worksheets, games, flash cards and other fun items that are included.
This is a hands on curriculum which is needed for those special needs children that need touch and visual learning. It is complicated to work with and the children love it. This is a game to them and not “work”.

This is an AWESOME setup! I recommend this for any child that has a learning problem. This makes it so much easier for the child to learn and fun too. This system comes with Teacher’s manual, Student Activity Book, LetterMaster Comic, Teaching & Songs CD, Fun Learning Pack & Reader.
Why does this system work? Kids understand when something is scared and when something is brave. This takes the concept of teaching that some letters are brave and some are scared. Brave letters stand on their own and the scared depend on another letter.
The worksheets are fun for the students to do and the teachers book has fun activites to help teach the student. The fun pack comes with flash cards, prevention charts, magnetic alphabet and beginning sounds, alphabet spinner, and more.
The system comes with the awesome Story of Letter Master CD. This is great to have but if you have a student that is a visual learner you will want to buy the DVD. It is cute and it sticks in the students mind.
I highly recommend this system!! We have personally used this with our handicaped son and he has learned more than what the doctors even thought were possible.
