HomeSchool Minder is an awesome way to track your school calendar, assignments, and grades all at once. Some programs have the same type of thing but the one thing I like about this one is it is easy to set up and you don’t have to look all over the place to set it up, it is all right in front of you. It is easy to set up each child’s information so you can track it from the very beginning.

The grading is easy to work with. You can have 3 options to pick from: pass/fail, standard (A,B,C,D,F) or Standard A+ to F. Each of these options you can set the grade limit and GPA value. You can also set a different grading system to different subjects.

You can group assignments into 3 different categories that are premade or add more categories for better organization. There is also an area for skill assessment for unique grades. You can change the weight for each subject and for the different categories.

You can count attendance by either days or hours depending on which your law requires.There is a reading list that you can use for each student to keep a record for later use. And then a place for your field trips, doctor appointments, vacations, etc that you want on your school calendar.

I love the lesson plan area because you see the list of classes at the top to pick from. You can pick to filter the plans, copy the same assignment to another student, or see your reports right there in the lesson plan area.

The grade book is a very simple to use and it breaks everything down so you can choose a particular term or both terms. You can all sort by several options and you can look and immediately see what lessons are missing and what the grade is for each lesson without any trouble.

In the student records area you have all of the important information about the student including their community service, books they have read and standardized tests they have taken. When you are ready for a transcript for your student it is there ready for you without a lot of work.

In the help area you can see a listing of all recent updates that have been done. The customer service to super and they love to hear from their customers good or bad so they have feedback what people want and need. This program is constantly being updated to make the program better.
